The chicken and yellow rice that downtowners love is the same as on any steam table, but set in the new location and redesign of this downtown fixture, it’s a jewel. Architect Ken Garcia’s white-on- white modernismo lets the national colors shine, and accomodate both the old cafeteria line and the uptown tapas bar. It looks best at night; menu shines then too, long on seafood and Gallego heartiness.
